Whether you are a rider wishing to sample another type of equestrianism or someone with no experience of horses but who likes the idea of taking a pony and trap along country lanes - we can offer you a "taster" experience.
For individuals - we offer a two hour session which includes a full description of driving harness, its correct fit to the pony, practice on the driving apparatus and a drive out with the Instructor along country lanes before taking the reins and driving along private off-road tracks.
For Groups (up to 12 people) whether Riding Club or Womens Institute we offer a two-hour session, which includes being driven out with a beautifully matched pair of Friesian horses, practice on a driving apparatus before actually taking the reins and driving a single pony.
For those who having experienced the pleasures, challenges and opportunities of carriage driving wish to continue, personal lessons are available leading, possibly, to taking the examinations of the British Driving Society.
